Description: B-29 Superfortress Milsurp Part, OD Green Pintle for Sights or Other Instruments - found with an estate that was of a WWII vintage and had a garage full of B-29 radio equipment. I believe it is for supporting some kind of instrument inside the cabin, it is not large enough to be a weapon mount. The shaft is aluminum and the base is brass. It has a serial number.
