Description: This is a beautiful set by L. Bernardaud for Limoge, made in France. The covered bowl is 5.75" in total diameter and 3.75 at the opening. Gold trim accents the edges and the base. The lid is accented in gold on the edge and surrounding the beautiful gold lid handle.Both are painted with red and purple roses plus other flowers in pink and yellow plus green leaves. The small matching platter is oval in shape, 9.5" long, and 5.25" wide. Bottom of both have printed "B & C Limoges France L. Bernardaud & Co Limoges Printanier" Both are in very good condition with very minimal wear to gold, primarily to bowl rim where lid has rested (shown in photos.) No chips, cracks, or crazing.
