Located in Lillington, North Carolina, G&G name is not always as well known as other makers but their large factory produces thousands of machined and handcrafted, very well made items from top materials. Lightweight and strong, this is the older MODEL B816. A lot of holster in a small package. The rig is made form leather, with is wet molded and boned to fit the guns intended. The interior is smoothed & coated, and the whole holster given a nice hand rubbed finish. An inside snap & strap secure your gun, but allow a quick, natural draw. They mount the holster to a thick, neoprene (think SCUBA suit) backing. at 4.5" wide, this has the strength to support your gun, but flexes and moves as you do. For maximum comfort, they put a REAL SHEEPS SKIN/SHEARLING WOOL lining on the back, next to your ankle. - The holster is secured to your ankle with a wide Velcro strap. There is a ring for an optional upper elastic garter to act as an additional leg/calf support... That is not included, but available from G&G and others.
