Description: Balkan Turkish Ottoman Era Solid Silver Hand Hammered & Chased Dish with Figural Bouquets Flags and Drums and Axes c1800Presented is a lovely Balkan Turkish Ottoman Era solid silver hand hammered and chased oval raised dish or bowl with a great 1 ¾” apron chased surround with a detailed design of floral bouquets beneath crowns on either side and a flush of flags, horns and pole axes All surrounding the hand hammered center shallow bowl with a high hand hammered finish. While unmarked this beautiful dish is in lovely condition with only some dings, a dent in the bowl on one side of shallow bowl, a slight split on the edge rim on one side, a possible repair on one side at crown, no monogram and some fine scratches from gentle use and care. It is an excellent piece for the historical silver collector and a great piece for display or gift presentation.
