Description: This is a 1965 Ballantine / Barbara Remington 'Wilderness' Lord of the Rings Poster from my late sister’s collectibles. I just discovered this poster in her storage unit tucked away among her many collections. The collectible poster features stunning artwork that captures the essence of the fantasy genre and the magic of the Lord of the Rings series. Barbra Remington’s artwork is known for her distinctive and imaginative interpretation of whimsical creatures, bold colors and abstract landscapes deviating from Tolkiens more traditional illustrations in his books. This triptych originally 3 jacket covers gained a following among Tolkien fans for its unconventional take on the iconic series. There are 6 small tape markings on the back side of the poster. Some of the edges are slightly ragged and 1 corner is very slightly creased with 1 small torn edge. Please look carefully at the photos provided. The front of the poster shows no visible discolorations or imperfections. It is in used vintage condition.
