Description: Offered here is an antique Illustrate Literary Newspaper magazine, "Ballou's Pictorial" - Illustrated Newspaper, Boston, January 24, 1857, Scarce. In good condition - looks like it was removed from a bound volume thus tiny holes and splitting along the spine, very light oxidation/foxing. Ballous was one of the most popular Literary newspapers of the period. Lots of engravings or wood cuts. The cenetrfold has a view of ships in Boston Harbor. The are too big to scan together. Shipped in plastic, between stiff cardboard and with delivery confirmation.
