Description: One Balzers TMH-260 turbomolecular pump sold for parts. This pump is complete (missing only the vent screw/valve) and the blades are in good physical condition and spin freely (feels like the bearings are fine), the main ISO DN-100 flange is in good shape whereas there are a few small nicks in the KF-25 outlet flange which I don't think would effect sealing (untested). The words "bad motor" are written on the body and indeed, when connected to my TCP-380 controller, I'm unable to get the controller to power up to the point of turning on the pump without an error. I suspect the mechanics are fine but the windings or internal electronics are not, and a rebuild would be required, at a minimum. If working, this pump is rated for a 230 L/s flow rate down to 1e-8 mbar pressures even with the elastomer main seal. It has barbs installed for water cooling, but can be air cooled for operation at normal room temperatures, the liquid cooling is only necessary in hotter environments. Ships via FedEx Ground domestically or USPS internationally. I have test equipment, accessories, 3d printed parts, and components available in other listings. Feel free to ask any questions.
