The City Shopper run: The City Shopper run was produced in 2012 and 2013 and was numbered not named two each year 2012 included (#1) X8256 White with Blonde Hair - (#2) X8257 Black woman with Blonde highlighted hair. In 2013 (#3) X8258 White with shoulder-length Blonde hair- (#4) X9196 White with Brunette completed the four doll series. The X8257 Black woman with Blonde highlighted hair was Barbie's best rendition of a Black American woman up to that time with a broader nose and thicker lips since 2012; Mattel has been getting more precise with Ethnic minorities for a whole host of reasons that go beyond this narrative. Model Features: This model #1 is dressed in a casual low cut day dress featuring the signature zigzag stripe inspired by Italian Fashion Boss Vittorio Missoni. The model is further accessorized with; golden bracelet and earrings, with a pink shopping bag bearing the Barbie trademark logo in white. Her shoes are open toed gold pumps. c. Model Finish: Conservative eye makeup, pink lipstick with matching nail polished on fingers, and toes. d. Opinion: This is a very high-quality beautiful doll. Everything about her is upgrade from the average Barbie doll. The rooted eyelashes really add a lot, as do the upscale clothing and shoes. The picture does not do the dress justice the clothing is a copy of Vittorio Missoni signature zigzag stripe design knitted dress.
