Description: This Indenture ... Author: [BARDSTOWN IMPRINT] Title: This Indenture ... Publication: Bardstown, (KY): Printed by John P. Edrington, nd [but before 1819] Description: Broadside, 15 1/2 x 13 inches, a partly printed document enclosed by an ornamental border, this copy completed in manuscript as a deed for a parcel of land in Springfield, Kentucky, sold by Edward Gerthen to David and Elizabeth Rodman and signed by Rodman. Printing in Bardstown apparently began in 1803 with the establishment of Francis Peniston's newspaper. Folded; some small breaks at corner folds, some old staining and foxing. Still a good example of an early Bardstown imprint. Seller ID: 50203 Subject: Americana We are a Washington, D.C. based bookstore in business for over 40 years.
