Description: A pair of botanical hand-colored copper plate engravings by Basilius Besler (1561-1629), Narcissus and Lilies, from Hortus Eystettensis (The Garden of Eichstatt), pubished by Eichstatt and Nuremburg,in 1613, 1640, and 1713. Contemporary natural linen and black wood frames. 21.5ʺW × 1.5ʺD × 25.5ʺH. The prints are in very good condition. Light wear to the frames, a little paint off the black, and discoloration to the linen.
