It is based on the TV series Battlestar Galactica, which aired from 1978 to 1979. The movie is a compilation of scenes from three episodes of the series: “Fire in Space”, “The Living Legend, Part I” and “The Living Legend, Part II”. The movie also includes some footage from the pilot episode, “Saga of a Star World”. The movie tells the story of how the Battlestar Galactica and the Battlestar Pegasus, led by Commander Cain, launch a daring attack on a Cylon base world and three Cylon base ships. Movie was re-released in 1990 on MCA Home Video. Condition: I have not viewed the video so I cannot attest to how well it plays. I can say that the tape itself looks good! Whomever had it last was not kind and didn't rewind. The box has wear on all of the corners but no rips or tears. The artwork and colors look really good.
