Description: Bausch & Lomb Balvar 8A Scope, 2.5-8X made in Rochester. A fine scope made in the 1960's, measures 12 7/8" in length with a 1" tube. Glass is damage free with clear and bright vision through a solid tapered crosshair reticle. No internal adjustments as the proper mounts cradling the scope with spring tension. You can still find original mounts or purchase quality reproductions. The history on these classic scopes are worth reading up on. This scope is in very good condition with minor handling marks but some of the white paint in the number dial has rubbed off.
