Description: Bayonet Scabbard, No5 Mk1, British/Australian Jungle Carbine/SLR - Lithgow SCABBARD ONLY. No.5 Mk1 scabbard in the original Lithgow factory packing with a contract date of what appears to be 1969 and is most likely a FTR (Factory Thorough Repair). This is the first pattern scabbard with flush mounted steel throat and squared scabbard tip. This scabbard fits the range of British & Australian bayonets from No5 Jungle Carbine, No7, No9 and L1 series for the SLR. Mint condition. Opened for the photos.
