Description: LEATHER WESTERN BOSAL BRIDLE NYLON MECATE REIN This complete bitless hackamore or bosal bridle would be ideal for the show ring or your everyday riding if you prefer a bitless riding option. This has nice components that make up this bosal bridle...this is a rich chocolate brown leather single sliding ear style headstall, braided rawhide bosal and nylon mecate rein. The headstall or bosal hanger is constructed of supple chocolate brown leather with beaded and wrapped accents on the ear piece and cheeks. The beading is black and white colors. The black bosal is a 5/8" rawhide core bosal with 12 plait cheeks and 16 plait nose. 5/8” diameter checks and 3/4” diameter nose. Measures approx 10” long inside from nose to heel knot and 6” wide on the inside from forward nose knots. (rawhide bosals are hand made so the size will vary some). The black nylon mecate is approx 21 feet long and tied onto the bosal in the traditional way to have a single rein and a lead with the nylon tassel hanging from right under the heel knot.
