Description: Beatrix Potter Figurine "Aunt Pettitoes Feeding the Piglets" #145024 - Border Fine Arts1987 Measures about 4 1/4" tall Base 4" x 5" This is a Border Fine Arts and a Beatrix Potter creation. There is a large pink pig (Aunt Pettitoes) standing on two legs holding a feed pail in each of her hands. She is wearing a blue hat, a blue and white striped top, light blue skirt and an apron tied at her front. She appears to be smiling and her ears stand tall. There are seven pink piglets standing at the feed troth. An eighth piglet who is pink with small grey spots is running with his hind legs up high to get his portion of the food. The base is carved green grass, behind the clothed pig its marked BFA Scotland 1987 F.W. & CO. Artist initials RW on grassy area by the pale on right. The bottom is green felt with the maker's sticker and has both The World of Beatrix Potter Frederick K. Warne and the Border Fine Arts logos. Aunt Pettitoes Feeding the Piglets. In excellent condition; no chips, cracks or repairs. Sticker and felt intact on bottom. Only lightly dusted. Unboxed. Scuff may be evident as to be expected but does not deter from its beauty.
