Description: 1967 Professional Double Manual 5 pedaled Sabathil Harpsichord made in Canada by Sabathil. It is "not" made from a kit. The keys are rosewood and has an aluminum harp not a wooden harp for the sound board to have better stability which will helps it stay in tune longer. The original Black Walnut also in "great" shape as the pictures tell. Plectras that required replacement have been replaced. It measures 68" long. You would find Sabathil harpsichords like this one in the theatres of music colleges.churches and orchestra stages throughout America. Just recently a grandson of Sabathil emailed to tell me that it is in beautiful condition. This was his favorite out of all the different styles of Harpsichords they made. Washington State University also told me that they have had theirs for close to 30 years and it's also from the sixties and they would never part with it.
