Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Ironstone Pitcher & Bowl Set. The bowl has been repaired, and the cracks are visible, however, the break and repair is in one area at the top rim, and could be placed at the back so that it is not visible. The pitcher is in excellent condition, with no chips or cracks at all. There is no stamp on the pitcher, but the bowl has a printed backstamp that reads Ironstone, and England. I am unsure of the age of the set. They have a beautiful transfer pattern of violets tied with a pretty bow. There is a good amount of crazing in the glaze of the bowl. The bowl is about 4.5” tall, 3.75” deep, 15” in diameter at the top rim, and 7” in diameter at the base ring. The pitcher is 10.5” tall at the spout, 11.5” tall at the handle, about 9.5” deep, 9” in diameter at most, 5.5” in diameter at the rim, 9” in diameter from spout to handle, and 4.75” in diameter at the base ring. This is a beautiful old ironstone pitcher and bowl set that would be a wonderful addition to your antique collection.
