Description: Beautiful Chinese Ming Dynasty pottery figure of a Female Attendant A unusually elaborate pottery figure of female Attendant, Ming Dynasty (1368-1644 AD.), dating to late Ming period c. 1550-1650 AD. The lady wears a beautiful robe or coat, and her hair is styled nicely with a scarf - very impreszsive. She carries a purse or a shrine in her hand, and is standing on a square. She is glazed in green and yellow Sancai colors. Nicely painted facial details, careful thick glazing Size: c. 27,5 cm. tall. Condition: Extremely fine for type and age. Finely preserved glaze and pigment, with possible micro glaze chips, pigment loss, earthern deposits etc., consistent with it's age and long term buriel.
