It is understood that this desk was crafted in Guayaquil, Ecuador in the late 1800's or early 1900's having been commissioned by a Guayaquil, Ecuador, newspaper. The desk is unique due to the heavy use of the wood marquetry that adorns all the drawers and the roll top itself. Considering the age of this article, it is in excellent condition with few stains or chips due to normal usage over the years. We are offering this item for pick up at our residence in Katy, Texas.
