Description: Beautiful Mid-Century ANDREAS DAUB Germany Sterling Silver & Rhinestone Brooch This stunning brooch was hand made around the 1970s by well-known German designer Andreas Daub. It features beautifully detailed dark organic lines reminiscent of plant roots on a leaf shaped gilt Sterling Silver base. At one end one tip of the base holds a beautifully sparkly round Rhinestone suspended between the blades. A very clever and unusual design. The piece is in very good vintage condition with minor loss to the soft gilding and some patina according to age. This vintage beauty measures 2 1/2" long x 5/8" wide and weighs 5.8 grams and is stamped "925" for Sterling Silver and carries Andreas Daub's designer mark "A*D" on the pin.
