Description: Description: This beautiful rare late 19th century French wool jacquard woven fabric probably had been used as a carpet! The lovely motifs are somewhat art nouveau inspired. The design features frame like motifs with other frames within. There are also large flowers with large leaves from each corner of the flower. The colors are dark brown, wine, tones of orange, pale gray/white with various tones of green. Wonderful for framing!
