Description: BEAUTIFUL VINTAGE WHIMSICAL TEAPOT + 4 Teacups- Adorable!. I really can’t tell you very much on this one, but just experience tells me that I don’t think these tea cups were really made with this. The quality of the cup painting is like kindergarten class, where as the teapot is just so nice. I don’t think they were painted by the same person. 🤷♀️. I can not find any kind of mark or clue on this, beyond the thing on the base of the cups I don’t think go with it. So beautiful and I researched in spite of trying to research it for a year! If I were keeping this, which my free range Savannahs said I can’t- I would find a set of better cups for it, but then I’m picky. Oh, but that teapot is close to as cute as they get! And really, it’s in almost perfect condition. I tried to catch any flaws in the pix. I feel a flea bite itsy bitsy chip on the end of the spout and it looks like someone touched that up. If it were staying, I would smooth that lightly with an Emory board, and maybe touch it up. Or leave it! They always look bigger in pictures! Sometimes the pix are my first clue to even look for an unseen flaw.I think maybe a tiny flea bite on the rim of a cup, pictured. That’s all I see, as far as anything, and I can’t over stress how tiny and minor those are but I wanted to let you know about that. Full disclosure, right?! Other than that, I have no idea of the age, or where it was made. I got it from an estate sale. I think it’s absolutely charming!
