It is for controlling flow or pressure of water, air, steam, gasoline or other fluid in a system or equipment. The B229+LRB24-SR is a modification of the standard B229 Ball Valve that can be mounted horizontally or vertically. The mounting flange is extended on the side opposite the handle so it may be mounted either horizontally or vertically. This mounting flexibility is ideal for spaces where space constraints prevent ball valves from being mounted in a single orientation. This NSR Carbon Steel Body Ball Valve, (10 CV, S) is rated for 10 cycles per hour and has a maximum pressure of 575psi. This ball valve with a brass alloy flexible frame has a non-shifting and non-rotating stainless steel ball, which is securely held by the ball seat.
