Description: For sale is a rare to find antique hand forged blacksmith made 18th century fireplace/hearth utensil/game hanging rack. Highly decorative form. 6 hooks are hand hammered and attached by blacksmith welding. All components are original and with no repair found. Good condition! It is a larger example. It measures 30” wide, 13” tall. All connections and links are hand hammered and remains secure. The item has some surface rust but structurally stable, should clean up well if one desires. Age appropriate surface wears and imperfections are to be expected. Please study the pictures carefully before committing to buy. Overall, this is a classical item for collectors of early wrought iron antiquity /early Americana /primitive fireplace and hearth tool.
