Description: Offered is this charming gravy boat or sauce bowl with attached stand in a pattern called Seagull. This is a favorite porcelain china pattern by Bing and Grondahl. The front and back of the bowl depict a white seagull in flight through a watery mist of pastel blue and white. The bird’s wings, beak, and feet are tipped in gold. Gold decorates the base, rims, and handles. The piece features a texture of fish scales around the rim of the bowl and the under-plate. The whimsical handles resemble seahorses. We understand this vintage pattern was produced in Denmark from 1962 to 1969. B&G stands for Bing and Grondahl, aka Royal Copenhagen. The gravy bowl stands about 4.25 inches high (11 cm) and measures about 9 inches (23 cm) long. Fine Factory Second Condition. No chips or cracks. Gold trim in very good condition.
