Description: Vintage Levi's Type III denim jacket with "Big E" red tab. Style 70505 from approximately the 1968 - 1971 era. Small, long rectangular neck tag (the tag is missing but the ghost remains), black/very dark blue bar tack in chest pockets, single stitch by waistband buttonhole, all orange stitching. Button stamp 525. Garment sold as is due to age. Please view all photos and read condition notes below. Neck tag is missing, so original size is unknown. This jacket measures approximately 38" around at the chest. This jacket displays true vintage character with fading, fray and stains. The major "landmarks" are shown in photos. There is a fist-sized coffee-colored stain on the left back, quite visible from the inside but blends well on the blue denim; blue ink stain inside the left chest pocket, not visible from the outside. A charming loom defect (a "mispick" I think, looks like a sideways ladder) punctuates the rear left waist. Typical heavy fade along the collar fold, with patina and some points of fray. Many instances of broken/worn away stitches. This is most prominent on the high friction areas of the cuffs, sleeves, and waistband which has led to some short seam openings. See photos. The red tab is frayed, so that only the "LEV" is legible. Free shipping to the US via USPS Priority (insured). A tracking number will be provided upon shipment.
