The sculpture is signed and dated on the trunk "Bijan 1980". This is a beautiful sculpture and a wonder example of the famous modernist artist Bijan. Very sleek modern yet retro piece of brass art. This piece of art would add the perfect whimsical touch in a nursery or any room in the house. Missing one bird....some light scratches. I have seen two others listed in the $2500 range, but they were smaller (36" three numbered branches...
