Description: Bill Wyman Personally Owned Rolling Stones Steel Wheels North American Poster from 1989 Bill Wyman is famous for being a founding member of The Rolling Stones and is a truly iconic bass player with decades of touring and recording with one of the most iconic rock bands of all time. But, he also was an incredible collector of Rolling Stones memorabilia over the course of the bands career. Many of the items he collected over the decades we kept in what he calls his “Rolling Stones Archive” and some of these items he even displayed to the public in his Rolling Stones Museum/British Dining Establishment “Sticky Fingers” in London, which he owned and operated for 32 years. This item comes directly from Bill Wyman’s personal collection and was displayed in Sticky Fingers as well. This item is professionally framed. Very good condition, some light signs of wear from age, but overall looks really good. Nice black frame, displays the tour poster very well. Iconic graphics of the Stones tongue logo where the stars would be on the American flag and list of American cities where the band played on the tour. Measures approximately 23” x 35.25”. Display very well. This is a great piece from the Stones touring legacy and it’s quintessential Rolling Stones and dates back to one of their most memorable line ups when Bill Wyman was still touring and recording with the band. The Steel Wheels/Urban Jungle tour were Wyman’s last tours with the Stones and he retired from the band in 1993. His legacy has been lasting, as the Stones most iconic recordings were done while Wyman was playing bass in the group. Frame is wired to hang. Comes with Certificate of Authenticity. Also comes with original auction hang tag. That this item comes directly from legendary Rolling Stones bass player Bill Wyman is amazing, but that he also displayed it in his truly impressive collection at Sticky Fingers is really unique.
