The circulus extends around the back. The lappets have bands of the same color at the ends. The listing photo shows a 7" tall mitre with green satin bands (the green is called "botanical gardens", lighter and more lively than "forest green"). The peaks are curved and it is shown with fringe that can be added for an extra $5. Another photo shows a Celtic Cross added (the extra fee is $10). Shown also is a Mitre with red bands, other church colors could be used (purple, gold or blue). This is a "Your Mitre Your Way" listing For the sake of simplicity if you are wanting the Mitre to look like the main photo, just email me the head size and say to the effect "main photo" (7", green bands, diagonal sides, curved peaks). To request design changes please choose, after giving the head size: 1.) Height--- 6", 7", 8", 9", 10", or 11", for the 12" there is an additional $12 fee. 2.) Sides---diagonal or straight. 3.) Peaks---straight or curved. 4.) Color of bands The peaks of the Mitre are made with lightweight, water-proof plastic that easily molds around the head providing a snug yet comfortable fit. An excellent quality of satin is used for the lining, and there are two leather-type head bands machine sewn in for comfort and lining protection. The color of lining is chosen to go well with the color of the bands (red, white or gold). The lappets are 3" x 15" (2" are added for the 12" Mitre). You can put the specifics in the message section on eBay's checkout page, or just email me the info. The head size is the measurement around the head just above the ears. It will be custom made and mailed in about 10 business days via USPS priority mail. There is Rush Service available for $25, if you need the Mitre in less than a week.
