These were the first Bloomberg Magazines that were distributed to Bloomberg Professional users. These magazines contain relevant securities analysis in the areas of fixed income, commodity, fx and equity research, among other financial sectors. The revolutionized securities analysis at the time and except for some of the news articles and interviews, are still as relevant today as they were when they were issued. No economics or finance curriculum is complete without some knowledge of the content herein. They contain articles about things that came true, like Newscorp Fox’s domination of international sports markets and things that didn’t, like the glory of the Enron Company. They were issued before the Greenpoint Mortgage securities scandal, the Financial Crisis of 2008 or the eventual streaming of Faux news on the Bloomberg Professional newsfeed. They are complete except for Vol 11, which can probably be found with some patience or put together through the acquisition of individual issues of the same time frame. They are in excellent condition aside from some minor drying in the spine glue. You will not find a set this complete or in this condition anywhere. With the addition of the new Bloomberg Law legal functionality, they may also be relevant to any law firm that uses Bloomberg Professional and wants more information about the substance of this company and it’s early analytical, research and historical tools.
