We do not know the proper name for it. The fabric is very shiny and changes undertones in the light. the fabric was used on the following dolls as trim or full fashions. -Tyco Little Mermaid-She-Ra POP-Jem and the Holograms-Barbie-Troll dolls-Beanie Baby's -And many other dolls for the 80's and 90's (This is for 1 yard, of cut 40" by 36" (101 cm by 91 cm) Of fabric.
