Description: I am selling this bike for a friend. He's in his late 80's and can no longer ride this bike. A couple of years ago, he had the drop bars and shfters removed and made it into an upright bike which made it possible for him to ride for a few more years. It now has only the rear derailleur and is set up as a 1 by 10. The bike is so, so light, probably around 18 lbs...and very fast. The wheels and tires are the regular BMC stock items. If this bike were my size, I can guarantee you that it would not be for sale. It is 57 cm (I'm six foot four)...and will fit someone in the 5 foot 8 inch range. All I can really say is that thei bike would be a blast to ride on the trails or roads. I asked my friend if he still had the drop bars and shifters, etc. but he could not find them, but clearly the bike could be returned to its original status. I can ship it wherever, but if you live close to Sacramento, you can pick it up and save yourself the shipping costs.
