BNIB Herring Launceston Brown Grain Wingtips EU sz 44F US 10.5D Made in Ireland

Description: One pair of BNIB (Brand New in Box) "Launceston" brown grain commando-sole leather wingtips from Herring Brothers of England. Shoes were made in Ireland in EU size 44F, which works out to about a US size 10.5D. That is my size in Alden’s & Allen-Edmonds, and I find these fit me comfortably. (If in doubt, I suggest erring on the side of “sizing up” a bit, since shoes that are a touch roomy can always be worn w/ thicker socks, like you might want to do in the cooler months w/ these shoes anyway.) Outsole dimensions (taken w/ a soft tape measure): 12 1/2 inches long from front edge of toe to back edge of heel 4 1/2 inches wide across at widest (ball of foot) 3 1/8 inches wide across heel These have never been worn and come in their original box as shown, also with the navy blue cotton-flannel Herring shoe bags as shown. They have Steptronic synthetic outsoles in a commando lug pattern, and Steptronic cushioned sheepskin insoles. These shoes are sturdy, with the substantial look that is expected in wingtips, but at the same time they are light in weight and very comfortable.
