Everything is in excellent condition, not chips, scratches, etc. Like new, used as a beautiful display mostly. I did use it for 2 tea parties & all parts worked well for participants. Crafted in China, this vintage set is also an antique and ornate style with glossy finish. It is original and licensed reproduction, and is refrigerator safe, stackable, and easy to fill. The set is ideal for all types of occasions and is dishwasher safe. I hand washed it when I used it but I do remember that it is supposed to be dishwasher proof. I won’t use it in the microwave but I would microwave the water and pour into the teapot with 3 bags. Makes 3 cups of tea at fullest point.
