When I saw how well they worked, I thought maybe other people might want them. It is well-built, all steel and will never need replacement. It won't break under extreme use like plastic, wood, and cast metal bootjacks. It is equipped with steel-reinforced rubber feet to prevent damage to floors. It is powder coated to prevent corrosion, even if left outdoors. The material is smooth on the surfaces that contact the shoes, so it won't damage your dress boots. It is especially useful for removing Muck boots and other similar boots. Fire departments (makes removing and organizing bunker gear easier), hunters, fishermen, construction workers, farmers, gardeners, children, folks who have trouble bending over or do not have sufficient strength to manually remove their shoes, cowboys/girls all find this item makes their lives easier. To use it, a person stands near it and places a foot on the treadplate. Then the heel of the other foot and boot is placed in the "V" of the bootjack. Slight upward, pulling pressure on that boot is applied and the person's foot easily slides free of the boot. Change positions of the feet and repeat for the other boot.
