There is an "action" button on the left side so you can program to do several things with the Bose app.You can also take, answer and hang up calls with the buttons on the right. They can be connected via Bluetoothto two things at once like your PC and your phone. They are fine if you are working from home and need a communication headset which these do. Just drive your sounds settings on the PC to Bose Hands-free AG. You will see Bose for regular audioand Bose Hands-free AG which are the ones you want to be selected when used as a Commnication headset. They will sound MUCH better. This goes for any headphones that you see two options to pick from (FYI). The headphones are very comfortable. The do come with the case if you do alot of traveling.
