Classic Gemini DS-824 stand alone sampler (photos 2-to-5, $699) This extremely hard-to-find piece of Gemini legacy is in excellent working like-new condition unused for most of its existence just sitting on display in my studio. Amazing for tactile DJs, sound technician et-al. Super versatile with a generous 24-seconds of sampling time, a cool on-the-fly pitch manipulation, banks and other friendly-user features. The highly collectable Gemini ds-824 is no longer in production and you'll be hard-pressed to find one in this immaculate state...so grab it while it lasts! 2. One original classic Roland SP-808 sampler (photos 6-to-9, $899) The specimen for sale was used as back-up unit only and performs flawlessly. comes with one pre-loved 100mb zip-disc that can be re-formatted to get you started. I take the SP-808 on the road with me at my gigs due to its versatility & intuitive on-the fly tweak-able nature to spark creativity even for a novice sound technician, dj, musician or the likes. One of my favourite phrase machines and perhaps anecdotally sounds superior due to its own unique dynamic properties of the zip-disc format like the magnetic analog tapes or even mini discs format, but hey, I'm not here to argue..so I'm stacking up heavily on zip-discs and drive spare parts so should anyone who endorses the original SP-808s! Unbalanced or balanced optional I/O board, new/used zip discs or external zip drive are optional for purchase at additional costs if interested. Subject to availability. This model has seized in production and bound to be a classic! and only getting harder and harder to acquire. Grab one now while it lasts. There may be some inconspicuous imperfections due to moving, re-storing and racking overtime but in no way way impede normal operations. 2. Roland SP-808ex with 250mb zip-drive. (photos 10-to-16, $1050) Again, the Item showcased here was a back-up unit only. One of the 3 Roland sp-808ex units among the wide collection of samplers and groove boxes (MC-909, MC-808, MV-8000, MV-8800, MV-9000, RS-7000, SP-202 just to name a few) in my collection and never used. All pads, buttons and switches function as new. Custom road case is not included but may be purchased separately if desired. 3. Gemini PS-767 pre-amp mixer with built-in ultra-cool low-fi drum sounds (photos 19-to-22, $599) Prior to listing, the specimen presented here received a much needed TLC since it was put out of commission a few years back including but not limited to: deoxit and lubrication of all knobs, switches to assure better contact and continuity. Detailed clean every crevice every line with some retouching involved in the process.
