Description: This old newspaper is the Boston Medical Intelligencer from Thursday April 18, 1824. The paper is four sides. Some of the articles within are: Indigestion - Spasms - Inflammation of the vessels from venesection - Rupture of the fallopian tubes - Poisoning by potass - Transposition of the viscera - Amputation at the hip joint - Operations for stapayloraphia - Medicine in Spain - Massachusetts General Hospital - Effect of fear - Accidental developement of the veins and the Weekly report of deaths in Boston. The paper is in good condition with some folds and some age wear. Still very readable. The pages measure 11 3/4" x 10 1/2". Please see the photos for details.
