A brief history is followed by a point-to-point pictorial survey of the line as well as the Winthrop Loop and it's short branch to Point Stanley. Essentially a narrow-gauge commuter line along the upper east shore, this colorful line was an integral part of Boston rail lore. 103 images and ephemera illustrate this saddle-stitched softcover.
