The circa is about 1980's - 1990s and we have been in possession of a small number of these gems for about 17-years, since we bought them from the Italian factory where all the Versace eyewear was made. These are available in extremely limited numbers and once gone, they are gone forever. The color of the lenses is smoke / grey and the frames are clear. These frames are intended to be adjusted (if needed) by dipping the earpiece in very hot water, to make it soft enough to bend and fit. If you need such adjusting, suggest you take it to an optician because we regrettably can not be responsible if this procedure goes wrong. If your ears are not the same height, they will probably require expert adjustment at the optician. Marked on the inside (right) earpiece: "Gianni Versace Made in Italy". The left inside earpiece has the model number and "CE" marking. The familiar Versace "Medusa" emblem is raised in silvertone metal at the temple. 100% UV, which is evidenced by the "CE" marking (EU standard). No case is provided.
