Description: Here is a solid cast brass Navigational Beacon offered as a custom made lamp in good condition and ready for deployment aboard a vessel or in a home. 0nly manufacturer's mark observed is: S1915T. Uncertain if this denotes date of manufacture or is a serial number. These were typically stationed in channels, waterways, bridges, docks, etc. Fresnel glass in very good original clear condition, haven't even found any surface chips. Beacon housing is also in good shape, complete and without repairs. Approximate overall dimensions: Beacon Height 8-1/2" X Width 7-1/2" X Total Lamp Height 27-3/4 X Width of Wood Base 9-1/2" X 15lbs. Please note: Lamp's Light works fine; the Beacon was not internally wired as a second light. Also, NO Lampshade as found; buyer can buy their own shade locally with the money saved on shipping cost for a shade. Brass has some patina/verdigris which buyer can polish if preferred.
