It has a blue sapphire dial and a special blue and white enamel label by 3 o’clock to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the US Air Force. This is a jumbo chronograph model. The dial and the insert is blue. It has the red Breitling name on it. This is an exceptionally rare and special watch! This Original Breitling Chronomat is one of a very limited run of 50 watches ever made celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the US Air Force. It is exceptionally exciting that we were able to acquire this watch which was given to 50 of the top military personnel in the air force to celebrate this special occasion (they were likely generals in the air force). What makes this unique is that it is the only Breitling watch, and probably the only watch we have ever seen, where the back of the watch is engraved with not only “limited series,” but also “not for sale”. Meaning, this watch was not made for sale of any kind. This classic timepiece dates back to 2002 and is encased entirely in precious brushed Stainless Steel. The case measures approximately 39mm (diameter) x 14mm (high). This very rare and highly desirable wristwatch features a blue dial and has hour, minute, second, date, and chronograph functions.
