For now, greatly appreciate you taking a look at one of my newest listing on eBay, Brian Viveros is one of my favorite artist and his artworks have been in my collection for over 6 years now, so please help me find a good home for it soon, for now here's more info about its artist: Brian M. Viveros meticulously renders portraits of women that resist the notions of feminine sensitivity, placing his finely detailed, conventionally attractive figures in provocative positions and costumes that convey power, boldness, and unapologetic femininity. His variation on Cleopatra (2013) portrays a dark-haired beauty wearing a crown wig of bullets, a cigarette dangling from her lips and kohl-lined eyes smudged. Looking at the viewer with compelling gazes, the figures are fierce fighters captured in paintings full of radiance, color, and intensity. Viveros’s hyperrealistic works transform the femme-fatale trope into an empowered female figure. Working with oil, spray paint, and acrylic, Viveros elicits enduring stills from cinema in paintings like Changes (2020), which hone in on the eyes and lips of his figures to emphasize their piercing gaze. Viveros also works as a filmmaker, with credits including Dislandia, Southern 2008, and Tercio de Muerte.
