Description: For consideration is a lovely, handmade petticoat and/or peasant maxi skirt. Perfect for wearing under a wedding or historic-style gown, as well as separately on its own. Lots of fullness. Shown in some pics over a chemise & a hoop but sale is for the skirt/petticoat only & does not include the chemise or the hoop. This piece is a 100% off-white unbleached cotton muslin with an elastic draw waist. It is trimmed in lace at the mid length ruffle and the bottom and has a lace & ribbon circlet adornment on the bottom of one side. The 1"-wide waist band has a 3/4" white elastic through it that you can tie off or tack to your fit at the back inside seam. French seamed so there are no fraying issues. Waistband top is outer stitched for a quality look. The hem line is double machine rolled. Please see the sweep measurements for actual fullness. The size is adjustable from a small up to a 60" waist. This petticoat/skirt is a unique, one-of-a kind, handmade piece; no one else will be wearing the same skirt to whatever event you attend.
