Description: Fantastic card of Baltimore Orioles legend, Hall of Famer Brooks Robinson. This card, #230 from the 1964 Topps set, has been graded 4.5 Very Good - Excellent by PSA. The greatest defensive third baseman in baseball history, Robinson played 23 seasons in Baltimore, and made the All-Star Game in fifteen straight years between 1960 and 1974. A light hitter early in his career, Robinson developed into a real threat with the bat and ended up with nearly 3,000 hits and over 250 home runs. He won an MVP award in 1964, when he had a career-best season at the plate (.317/.368/.521 with 28 homers and league-leading 118 RBI) along with his typically stellar defense. Robinson also won two World Series, in 1966 and in 1970, and he was the MVP of the 1970 series when he hit .429 with 2 homers and 6 RBI in five games. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame on his first ballot in 1983. The card pictured is the one you will receive. Thanks for looking!
