Description: Brown Westhead Moore Cauldon Hand Painted F Hillman Floral Gold Scrolls 9 Inch Plate B Beautiful porcelain plate with fancy relief molded scrollwork edge made by Brown Westhead Moore for the Philadelphia retailer Bailey Banks & Biddle. Decorated with a beautifully hand painted basket in the center with flowers in pink, purple, white and lilac. With raised gold gilt scrollwork and lattice design border with small blue, pink and green floral designs. With gold gilding along the edge. Signed by the artist F. Hillman. Marked on the reverse Cauldon Ware Brown Westhead Moore & Co Staffordshire England, with Bailey Banks & Biddle Philadelphia in the center. This mark was used by Brown Westhead Moore between 1895 and 1905. Also marked with the pattern number B 6756. Excellent condition with almost no wear to the gilding and no chips or cracks. Measures approximately 9 inches wide. This is an antique and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece.
