"Christmas Eve" is the rarest vintage kit of this title. It is one of several kits produced by Bucilla under the same name. This is one of the first kits by this name. It is an undated kit that is still factory sealed. The beautiful red brickfireplace is unique with the train and teddy bear on the mantle. There is a fire glowing in the fireplace. You can see part of the decorated tree with the kitty watching as the child is busy hanging the stocking. The child can be finished as a girl or a boy. This kit is 18" in diagonal length when completed. This kit is in excellent condition and is still factory sealed. I have sterilized it and everything remains intact. This is a very old kit but quick to complete. It is one of the vintage kits that is trimmed with the gold braid. The children have hung their stocking of the mantle and there is also a cute clock of the mantle. This kit would be great for either sex. This stocking kit contains stamped felts or 100% Polyester for simple appliques, Persian Crewel yarn of 100% Wool, cotton floss, color separated sequins and beads, all decorative trims, 2 needles, as well as easy-to-follow instructions and directions for personalization. This stocking kit is 18 inches in diagonal length when completed. Since this kit was bought on the secondary market, it has been sterilized and guaranteed germ-free. It is for this reason that my kit cost is slightly higher but definitely worth it. It is sterilized in the same manner that surgical instruments are sterilized. I do take extra precaution on all vintage kits or opened to maintain they are germ-free.Since vintage kits go through so many hands, it is for this reason that my kits cost a little more because they are completely sterilized using the procedure that is used in a surgical procedure. I don't just wipe down the outside of a package with a germicide. I sterilize completely throughout the kit.There is a grommet hole, a hole which is used for displaying the kit, ornament, etc., germs and bacteria can go through the grommet hole on any kit. It is worth it to make sure your kit is germ-free. I will never sell you an incomplete or dirty kit. If I receive a kit that has a torn, dirty or in an extremely worn plastic package, I will replace it with a new bag and professionally heat seal it.
