Description: This B12 is a nice example of a German-made Buffet student clarinet. By looking at it you can tell that it has been well taken care of. The key plating is generally excellent with some slight wear on the key rings. The corks and springs are in top condition. The body of the clarinet has minimal scratching and no cracks. The Buffet logo is a bit rubbed off but it is still readable in direct sunlight- see the last photo.This instrument was just serviced: taken apart and polished, all new Valentino pads were installed plus it was lubricated and the key height adjusted when it was re-assembled. I've found that often it's the small adjustments that make a big difference in how enjoyable an instrument is to play. I started playing clarinet 60 years ago and these days I restore clarinets exclusively. Over the years I've refurbished more than 1,200 of these Bb clarinets, many of which have been sold here on eBay.
