LDPE is known for low temperature flexibility, toughness, and corrosion resistance. LDPE offers good resistance to chemical attack. LDPE may be susceptible to stress cracking when exposed to ultraviolet light and some chemicals. Wetting agents such as detergents may accelerate stress cracking.
