Grimes admittedly threw the spitball most of his career! Also is a sepia toned 11" x 14" of Grimes (with the Chicago Cubs, 1930s) showing his form loading up another spitball. The index card is signed boldly in ink. Grimes died in 1985. I am slowly selling off a collection that has been built since 1975.
